Beginner Pottery Classes
When:
(GROUP 1) Thursday March 26th 6pm to 8pm
Thursday April 9th 6pm – 8pm
Thursday April 30th 6pm – 8pm
(GROUP 2) Tuesday April 14th 6pm - 8pm
Tuesday April 28th 6pm - 8pm
Tuesday May 12th 6pm-8pm
(I) First Night 6pm to 8pm
Roll out a slab, use a cookie cutter and/or trace method.
Also make a Pinch Pot, Coil Pot & then trim
and clean your pieces to prepare them for their first firing.
(II) Second Night 6pm – 8pm
Glaze your pieces from the first class.
Introduction to the Pottery Wheel. Everyone will take turns on the wheel to learn centering a piece of clay, while the others learn about Hand Building with a slab of clay.
(III) Third Night 6pm – 8pm
Receive your pieces from the first class.
More on the Pottery Wheel (everyone will take turns on the wheel while the others prep and glaze their piece from the second night).

Pick up your items. Schedule a day and time that’s convenient for you!
Total for all three classes is $105 which may be paid all at once
or in three installments of $35 each, before or at each class.
All Classes will be at the home of Alan & Lisa Johnson and by attending you are agreeing to hold them harmless and not responsible for any injuries or accidents.
Remember that Pottery can be MESSY so dress accordingly. If you have an apron, it wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring one. We do have some but may not have enough for everyone.
All necessary items such as clay, slip, tools are supplied each class.
We will also have light snacks and drinks.
